That's me on
the left, with my sisters at five years old! |
Then after high school, I went to college and with a practical mindset decided that the computer industry would be good profession for me. This is where I met my best friend, Judy, who still is an inspiration and a part of my life and shop. I worked for 10 years in business technology, all the while talking, planning and saving for the shop. But this wasn't all a waste of time, for it was here I met and fell in love with my husband, Ed. We were an instant match and shared many of the same dreams. So, we put our hearts and energy together, bought a home in Lambertville, NJ, and started the "One Stitch at a Time Quilt Shop"! |

| And so the story went, Ed and I enjoying each other's company and the excitement of making shop ownership work! Then our family came along; Spencer Edward on January 21st, 2000, and Grace Elizabeth on July 26th, 2003. We feel blessed that these children are a part of our lives. Though kids are a lot of work, as anyone whose parented knows, the pleasure we derive in their happiness is immeasurably worth it! |
